Margaret Widlund is a cannabis attorney with an extensive background in corporate litigation and business and partnership disputes. Her practice at 7 Point focuses on intellectual property, administrative law, risk evaluation and mitigation, ADR, and civil litigation. She also frequently speaks at CLEs and cannabis trade shows on topics ranging from intellectual property to ethics.

Prior to her brilliant move to 7 Point, Margaret was based in Silicon Valley where her practice included commercial litigation, intellectual property, and corporate transactions. She served a diverse range of clients including individual investors, start-ups, and mature public companies. Outside work, Margaret is into trail running, volunteer coaching for Girls On The Run, and growing great pumpkins.

Margaret has a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of San Francisco and a JD from Willamette University. Before graduating from law school, she spent a year as a visiting scholar at Seattle University School of Law.
